Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the 14th International Symposium on Wild Boar and Other Suids, which will take place from September 9 – 11, 2026, in Zagreb, Croatia, under the theme “Rooting towards the Future”.
The Symposium is open to researchers, experts, managers and anyone interested in wild boar or other suids and provides an excellent opportunity to share knowledge, promote collaboration and gain new insights into the ecology and management of these species.
The scientific programme will be organised in the following sessions:
- African swine fever and other diseases
- Biology and genetics
- Ecology and behavioural ecology
- Human-wildlife interactions and management policies
The symposium will be held at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture. All further information will be published regularly on the official website of the symposium.
